Grandmaster Wong releases Sifu Emiko.s powerful grip in a seemingly effortless manner

All internal art masters, without a single exception, have said that it is very important to be relaxed for internal force to be manifested. The more relaxed an internal art practitioner is, the more effectively he can apply his internal force.

Understandably, many people, especially those accustomed to equating force with muscular strength, wonder how one can be forceful when he is relaxed. This video clip shows a good example of the importance of being relaxed while manifesting internal force.

As indicated in the video, if even a scholar-warrior like Sifu Emiko Hsuen, who has practiced many types of internal martial arts and who herself has much internal force, is intrigued by the seemingly effortless manner Grandmaster Wong releases her powerful grip, it may not be too surprising that many people, including some masters, do not believe that one can be very forceful when perfectly relaxed.
