LEARNING TO COUNTER A SERIES OF ATTACKS PROGRESSIVELY

Triple Strecth

You may choose to counter your opponent at any suitable point

For systematic learning, we stylize an opponent making four continuous attacks - three kicks followed with a punch. We deal with his attack progressively - from countering at point 4 to point 3 to point 2 and then as soon as he attacks.

But in a real fight how do we know that he will make four continuous attacks – and not three or five or any number. Actually it doesn’t matter. Dealing with four attacks is for our learning purpose. Once we can counter him progressively, we can choose to counter at any point.
