Shaolin Kungfu

Tong Kok San and Yim Chee Kong in Four-Gate Sparring

The first Shaolin Wahnam Standardized Test was held in 1983 at the Shaolin Wahnam Association in Sungai Petani, Malaysia, one year after the formation of the association. The test consisted of four parts, covering the four aspects of Shaolin Kungfu, namely form, force, application and philosophy.

Grandmaster Wong invited three masters to be external examiners. They were Sifu Choe Hoong Choy (Grandmaster Wong's Wing Choon teacher), Sifu Wong Choy Wah (Grandmaster Wong's siheng in Uncle Righteousness lineage, and the Grandmaster of Chin Wah Hoong Ka Kungfu Academy) and an old friend of Uncle Righteousness known just as Uncle Cheong (who was different from another Uncle Cheong from Wing Choon Kungfu).
