FUNDAMENTALS OF TAIJIQUAN

The fundamentals of Taijiquan include

  1. Waist rotation and basic Taijiquan patterns which can be found in Grasping Sparrow's Tail
  2. Moving to different directions using different modes
  3. Increasing speed by reducing steps and minimizing movement
  4. Zhan zhuang and fa-jing, or stance training and exploding force
  5. Cloud Hands which are free Taijiquan movements but are formalized to help students
