There are two categories of Cotton Palm -- the soft and the hard. Wudang Cotton Palm is representative of the soft catefory, and Praying Mantis Cotton Palm is representative of the hard.

"Soft" here is a translation of the Chinese word, "rou". Soft Cotton Palm can be very powerful.
