Dear Sigung, Dear Shaolin Wahnam Family,

First of all I would like to express my deep gratitude to Sigung for teaching two consecutive years such wonderful courses and for allowing me to take part.

The Wudang course last year was a firework of skills and tremendous flow. Together with the 108 Yang Set taught in Ireland, where we revised some of the skills, it was what has lead me through 2014.

The Dragon Strength course was as amazing and powerful as the Wudang course. Yet the force experienced was different. During some of the sessions I felt an "absolute stillness and clarity" of the mind, of the Chi, of the Universe. It was very different from anything experienced previously.

During the Dragon Strength course we received and experienced a wealth of amazing skills such as advanced breathing, dragon flowing force, consolidation, lightening speed, Dim Mak, exploding force from the whole body. All of which have already now, two weeks after the course, enriched and deepend my Tai Chi Chuan practice. To give you just an example - the experience of performing and receiving Dim Mak has been like a little Kungfu enlightenment, which brought a new level of understanding of how the "soft overcomes the hard". Every time I think of it I have to smile - it is so simple, yet profound.

And this is just the beginning. It will take time to practice and deepen the skills just learned. And it will benefit not only me, but also my students.

On a side notice, I also experienced - with a smile - where my mind limits my skills. It will be something to work on over the coming months. It is interesting that advancements always comes with experiencing limitations. Maybe this is an answer (or not) to what Charles Sisook reported in an earlier post about the stage of "disappointment" (http://www.wongkiewkit.com/forum/showthread.php?11947-Dragon-Strength-Course-Experiences&p=126863#post126863). Seeing my limitations (and the limitations of others) leaves me a choice - to become humble and with a smile work on improving. Or to close the heart, ignore the limitations and become arrogant. Not sure this is an answer, but it might be. Either way it allows me to see my limitations with a smile and welcome them as an opportunity to improve.

Courses in Malaysia are always a unique opportunity to meet fellow instructors and Shaolin Wahnam Family members. It was fantastic to catch up with all of you. Thank you all for the many conversations, time spent over lovely food and the good time together. It was also very special to see so many of my Kungfu brothers and sisters from Switzerland on this course. Thank you Sifu for organizing the journey.

We have quite a dragon base now in Switzerland haven't we?

Warm regards
Andrea
