CONTRAST BETWEEN IRON WIRE AND TAIJIQUAN

Sifu Chris raised an interesting question touching on the difference between Iron Wire force training and Taijiquan force training. In Taijiquan we let our chi flow vigorously, then exploded force. In Iron Wire we let our chi flow vigorously, then consolidated force.

The routine for the fourth section, Big Boss Lifts Bronze Vessel, was learnt. This section was not found in the orthodox version of Grandmaster Lam Sai Weng, but was added from Eighteen-Lohan Art.

Grandmaster Wong also explains that in the orthodox version, one has to breathe out three times (without having to breathe in). But we substitute this with chi flow.
