ENSURE ADEQUATE COVERAGE WHEN MOVING IN TO ATTACK

Shaolin Kung Fu

A Muay Thai fighter is very agile. Even though you hold his leg, he may jump and strike you with the other leg

Itis important to remember that a Muay Thai fighter is very agile. Even when you hold his leg, he can still jump to strike you with his other leg. Hence we have to cover a Muay Thai fighter thoroughly so that he has little or no chance to counter attack when we strike him. Earlier we let him make the first moves, then counter him at an appropriate step. Of course we can also initiate an attack first. But we must make sure we cover him adequately when we move in to attack.
