COMBAT-SEQUENCE 16 - FIERCE TIGERS PUSH MOUNTAIN

Shaolin Kung Fu

It is important to cover your opponent before you push him away

This is Combat Sequence 16, "Fierce Tigers Push Mountain", named after its signature pattern of the same name. It is employed to push an opponent away, or to fall backward. Be careful to cover the opponent adequately before pushing him. The technique may also be used as a double palm strike. An effective counter is a thrust kick, executed in the pattern "White Horse Presents Hoof".
