INTERCEPTING OR CLOSING AND OTHER STRATEGIES AGAINST RANDOM FIGHTING

Shaolin Kungfu

Course participants practice how to fight against opponents who hit randomly

A question many people ask is whether Shaolin techniques can be used against opponents fighting randomly even when these Shaolin techniques can be used against opponents fighting in kungfu forms. The answer is of course. In fact it will be easier against opponents fighting randomly than against opponents using kungfu forms.

Nevertheless, it needs some practice to be accustomed to opponents fighting randomly. They are usually faster than those untrained kungfu practitioners attempting to use kungfu forms. Two strategies are useful: intercepting and closing. If you are more skillful you can also use felling and controlling.
