EFFECTIVE STRATEGY AGAINST KICK-BOXERS AND TAEKWONDO EXPONENTS
A common mistake made by many students when facing an opponent good at kicks is just to retreat
An effective strategy against Kick-Boxers and Taekwondo exponents is to avoid their kicks and simultaneously strike their kicking legs, and as soon as they place their kicking leg on the ground, even before they can recover their balance, move in swiftly to fell them. Grandmaster Wong also shows what many untrained and inexperienced kungfu practitioners would do, i.e. retreating from the kicks. This is a big mistake.
