APPLYING SHAOLIN KUNGFU ON BOXING
You can have tremendous advantages of spacing when you use kungfu stances against a Boxer
As today many martial artists fight like Boxers, Grandmaster Wong spends some time on the philosophy and practice of applying Shaolin Kungfu on Boxing. The techniques here are elementary, which he jokingly calls giving a Boxer a fighting chance, compared to those techniques like kicks, felling and chin-na where a Boxer has no counters in his art. Grandmaster Wong strongly advises the participants to maintain picture-perfect kungfu forms, which will give them many technical advantages over Boxing forms, including spacing and speed.
