TRAINING OF JING, QI AND SHEN
Grandmaster Wong demonstrates the huge difference between having good forms and bad forms in combat
Shaolin Kungfu is a training of "jing", "qi" and "shen", which are form, energy and mind. Being able to tell the difference between feign moves and real attacks, as well as to respond correctly and spontaneously are more the result of mind training than of form. Firstly, Grandmaster Wong gives some examples of failing to differentiate between false and real, and of being caught off guard when attacked. Then he explains how to overcome these problems. Besides the presence of mind and energy, good form of course is also necessary.
