MASTERING BASIC SKILLS
Making foot adjustment is often necessary when continuing from one combat sequence to another
The “invisible strike” is impressive, but for your best benefits you should first master basic skills before attempting advanced ones. A very basic skill, which many martial artists today neglect, is not to expose yourself, especially when you attack. Another important skill is to flawlessly make footwork adjustments when necessary, and a third important skill is to spontaneously cover your opponent when you attack. These skills are taught while going over Combat Sequence 5.
