NO DEFENCE DIRECT COUNTER
In combat, as in life, when you are in a difficult situastion, just move back a step
The basic counters against a low strike and a side strike are shown here. Please note that the responses in both cases are not blocks but counter-strikes. Executed correctly with force, you can break an opponent's wrist, elbow or arm as he attacks. This is the tactic of "no defence direct counter". "No defence" is a misnomer. Do you know why? Important skills, like "instant change" and "covering the opponent", are incorporated with the techniques.
