Besides music for Lion Dance, there is also music for the performance of kungfu and of the Laughing Buddha. While the kungfu music of many schools seems to be haphazardly performed to meet the occasion, that of Uncle Righteousness lineage is systematic and outstanding.

Grandmaster Wong also explains the functions played by the gong and the cymbals. The gong provides the timing, and the cymbals provide the base. Different moods can be created by varying the beats, timing and loudness of the gong and cymbals.
