Course participants practice the Hip Throw and the Shoulder Throw, which are forward throws. The patterns used are known as "White Ape Fells Tree" and "Farmer Hoes Rice Field". Do be very careful when executing "Farmer Hoes Rice Field", as it may break an opponent’s backbone if he does not know how to counter it or to break fall.
