Solo form practice is an important aspect in any kungfu training. But its purpose is not just to please spectators. There are many benefits we can derive from set practice, like learning correct form and flow, familiarizing ourselves with Taijiquan techniques for combat, generating an energy flow, developing internal force, focusing our mind, and expanding our spirit. We enjoy a chi flow after performing a set and complete by entering silence. Those who are ready may have a glimpse of Tao.
