Whenever your letter comes to me
pleasant excitement
in my heart set free
My mouth is not a weapon
to make a lady swoon
My mouth cannot transform
a sixpence into a moon
My mouth is an organ
to express the heart's desires
to express sincere appreciation
whenever the heart admires
And now I must sing to praise
the beauty of your eyes
Those windows of the soul
out-sparkle the stars at night
when sparkling in the sky
Thank you for the wonderful time
you gave me in Seremban town
I like the visit to the temple
that perches amidst the trees
from where we can see
Seremban and its greenery
