A chi kung class in Puerto Rico



You nave an enormous market if you live in a big city. If you don't live in a big city, you have to make a big city your marketing centre if you wish to implement this plan. This plan is meant for certified instructors. Chi kung healers can also implement this plan but they have to make appropriate changes.

Marketing is linking your product or service with the targeted population. We have an unbelievable service and a gigantic population who need our service. What you need to do is to link them together.

Your teaching of chi kung and kungfu is unbelievable. There is a gigantic population at your door who need your service. You just have to link them if you wish to make teaching chi kung and kungfu a success.

There is no doubt about the benefits of our arts bringing good health, vitality, longevity, peak performance, mental clarity and spiritual joys. And there is no doubt that people want these benefits, and are willing to pay for them if only you can teach them.

Suppose you live in a big city of 2 million people. Except babies and small children, all people want good health, vitality, longevity, peak performance, mental clarity and spiritual joys. But let us be generous, and estimate only 50% of the people want these benefits. This gives you 1 million people.

But not 1 million people believe in what you say and are willing to pay the fees you charge for your teaching. Let us be generous again and estimate that only 10% believe you and are willing to pay your fees. 10% of 1,000,000 is 100,000. You have 100,000 people in a city who believe you and are willing to pay your fees if you are willing to teach them.

How are you going to reach these 100,000 people so that you can tell them of your teaching? A good and cheap way is to prepare 100,000 pamphlets. Each pamphlet must be short and attractive, and states the place, date and time when you will explain the benefits your audience will get when they attend your free seminars. I shall explain about the pamphlets later on.

Do not give your pamphlets to any Tom, Dick and Harry. Give them to people who will believe you and are willing to pay your fees. An effective way is to distribute them to every office building. You can also put them in post boxes in houses in a wealthy area. You may like to employ a schoolboy or a college student to do this.

Your fees must be high. You are probably the only person in your area who can provide this service, but they are 100,000 people who need the service. If other teachers charge 80 euros or any units of currency, and you charge 100, your fee is expensive. But if you charge 300 euros, your service is different. You must give your pamphlets to those who can pay 300 euros.

Do not hand out 100,000 pamphlets all at once. Hand out about 2,000 pamphlets at one time. If you only have a 10% success rate, you will have 200 people at your seminar. Suppose you are not a persuasive speaker, and only 10% of the audience attend your class. You will then have 20 students. If you do this 5 times a year, you will have 100 students.
